Margaret Scott, Bespoke Book WorksBespoke Book Works was held at Ewart Gallery in Willoughby (Sydney) from 27 September to 22 October 2008. Bespoke Book Works exhibited a wide-range of hand-made books which are part of the reaction against mass production, particularly in the field of art and craft.

Under the Cover was the first exhibition BEA held at the Stanton Library in North Sydney. See some photos, comments and the catalogue from the exhibition.

You can read about Double Bush Binding in Issue No 257 of Art et métiers du livre and Issue No 67 of Craft Arts International. There are lots of lovely photos of work by Australian, Canadian, French and Japanese binders. If you missed the exhibition, make sure you read the reviews.
